Funny! I'm a total idiot too because I have NO IDEA who Paris Hilton is. I thought it was a fancy hotel in Paris. Is that a person?
I always thought it was ""what" is Paris Hilton?"
Chalk it up to say sometimes a person is intellegent based on what they don't know!!! Until the woman died, I didn't even know who Anna Nichol was and I still don't really. Why is Anna Nichol so important? What did she do was she the president of something?
Ahhh...I read some of the answers...London Babe answered best...the daughter of the owner of the Hilton Hotel Chain who posed naked somewhere. I did not know that. I had just heard the name all over the news and I couldn't figure out why...still can't.
The big question is...why is Anna Nichol...that dead girl, and this Hilton kid all over the news? What did they do that was important? From the sounds of it, they invented sex and scandal but I don't think they are that famous, are they?

well its surprising but i dont think your an idiot...your actually quite lucky to not know who she is, anyone who knows of her is wasting valuable memory brain space coz she isn't worth bothering about!!
but basically she is the Daughter of the guy who owns HILTON hotels all over the world...so she was born a millionaire.
She became famous after making a sex tape with her boyfriend at the time which she accused him of selling it on to the net after they broke up.
THIS WAS THE ONLY REASON SHE EVER BECAME FAMOUS
ever since she has tried to do everything to stay into the spot light...became friends with TONS of A listers and she makes headlines for being a Party girl.
she has stared in movies and her own TV show,
released an album,
tried modeling,
and has her own perfume.

Wow! Not to be rude but, you almost sound dumber than her! But anyway, she is the heiress to the Hilton Hotel chain. So basically, when her super rich dad takes a dirt nap she's in charge of one of the biggest hotel chains in the world. (I've stayed at the Hilton in Brussels, Belguim it was cool!)

no i wouldn't tell you you are an idiot...i would like to know how you avoided being bombarded by her though...um..to sum paris hilton up...she's the heiress to the Hilton(hotel) empire...she says "hot"... she's a bad actress...she released a song/album....has been hanging out with Britney Spears...that's about it.
