I tried the purple stuff too but the thing that finally got rid of it was GRAPEFRUIT SEED EXTRACT (sorry for all the caps - but it's that important). Just put 10 drops in a shot of water/juice and drink 3 times a day and it will be gone in 48 hours. Seriously. Best of luck

well to help you baby get rid of it you need to take him / her to the doctor and they will give your child something they may even give you something to . try not to touch the nipple with your hands and always put the cap back on the bottle when it is not in the babies mouth . boil water to a rapid boil then drop the nipples in the pan continue to boil the nipples for 10 minutes then leave int he pan after turning off the stove for another 5-10 minutes then remove the nipples with a sterile tongs let dry on a sterile plate. in order to get rid of the thrush you need to have all the things that touch the inside of your child's mouth sterile. that is a lot of work but once it is gone you will be greatful you put that extra effort in

My daughter was born with asymptomatic thrush, which she passed to me, and it got into my milk ducts. It was AWFUL. Worse than birth, even by C-section, for sure.
We tried everything.
The only thing that worked for us was a 21-day course of Diflucan. (The pharmacist looked at us funny when we went in to pick it up, since the usual dose is a single pill, and we totally cleaned out his supply, but it did work.)

I think you need that liquid from the doctor
also you might want to take probiotics to take care of yourself, but the baby needs something stronger, baby probiotics might help, but that thrush is a nightmare, hard to get rid of.
