is there a way of getting more than 8 people in your household? want to expand my family but dont know how would be grateful if someone could help thanks

There are two ways to increase your family beyond eight members: a boolProp cheat and the InSimInator mod.

***boolProp Cheat***

* Press [Ctrl+Shift+C] to open the cheat console
* Type "boolProp Testingcheatsenabled true" (without the quotes)
* Then whoever is the active sim, hold down shift and click on that sim and a menu will appear.

On that menu click "Spawn..." then click "Tombstone of L and D" and a tombstone will appear (you can even move and delete it in Buy mode).

Click on the tombstone and you can add a neighbor (i.e. anyone living on another playable lot) to the family.

You can also click on the "Get pregnant with.." option, which allows you to allow any female sim on your lot to get pregnant. This can come in handy to increase the number of sims on a lot, as female sims usually can't get pregnant if you already have eight family members. You can also speed up your pregnancy with in the cheat options.

There is also a "New baby" option you can choose. The new family member will appear, but won't be related to you anyone on the lot.

Just type "boolProp Testingcheatsenabled false" (without the quotes) to turn the cheat off.

NOTE: Be careful what options you select (other than the ones mentioned, of course), as some of the options can ruin your game save.

***InSimInator Mod***

This mod (see my sources) allows you to make any sim on your lot to become pregnant. This is the only way to increase your family size beyond eight if you don't want to use the boolProp cheat.

***General Notes***

Keep in mind that the more sims you have living on a lot, the more chance there is of lagging. The severity of the lag depends on your system specs.

Increasing your family size beyond eight can also effect your home business (though this only affects you if you have the Open for Business expansion pack installed). If your computer starts to lag because of the number of sims, your home business will not allow you to have many customers. For example, on a good computer, if your Business Rank is at level 10, that means you can have a maximum of 10 customers on a lot. But if your computer lags and your sim's business is at a 10, you will get maybe 3 or 4 customers. So don't raise the number of family members too high if you are running (or plan to run) a home business.

Becoming a werewolf:

Sometimes in the middle of the night a black wolf-looking dog with glowing yellow eyes
will come to your house and bark at the front door. If your Sim builds up a good
relationship with it the dog will nibble on your Sim's hand. In a bright orange flash,
your Sim will turn into a werewolf. Every morning at 6 your Sim will turn back into a
person and at night at 8 your Sim will turn back into a werewolf. To cure the werewolf
curse call the pet trainer, or the fortune teller if you have The Sims 2: Nightlife.

Becoming a vampire:

Get a coffin as a bed. Once they wake up, they should be vampires. If you hug or kiss
someone, they will also become vampires. The only way to cure the vampire is to find a
potion lady somewhere in every town. Note: It may take a long time to cure because the
lady is rarely in the same place.

Delete homework:
----------------
Use the sledgehammer tool in Build or Buy mode and delete the Sim's homework.
