Spring forward, fall back. The rule is at 2:00 a.m. you set your clock back 1 hour. So if I tell you to meet me at 1:00 a.m. you will say "which one?" THere are 2 1:00 a.m.'s in the same day. On the other hand, If I tell you to meet me at 2:30 in spring, you will say "I can't because 2:30 doesn't exist. I don't know about science and stuff, but there has to be some effect on the time space contineum. I know it involves a deleorian. I mean, you can't go deleting time from ever existing.

Daylights savings time was first proposed by Benjamin Franklin as a way of shifting the hours of daylight so that people would use less oil in lamps, more people would be up during daylight hours, farmers could get more done, etc. Time Zones were developed so trains would be on a regular schedule as the traversed the continent.

No, the love of money is the root of all evil. Daylight savings time is a necessary evil that keeps you from literally being in the dark , but doesn't figuratively help you any at all.

No, idiots who can't figure it out or who think we don't need it are the root of all evil.

It should be permanent, with us moving it 2 hours ahead in the summer.
