So you'll stay with them and watch their news!! They're called teasers and all of the channels do it. Some better than others.

Creating hysteria is very important. Someone has to do it so I guess Fox News is coming to the rescue. It is also important for people to become indignant or offended also. Never a dull moment I would say. Even right at this moment I'm trying to think of something to get indignant about. Any suggestions?

To put the fear of God in ya! Also to make their always biased and conservative skewed stories seem more attractive to an otherwise apathetic audience, i.e...the channel surfer who happens to see, "New evidence on an upcoming attack, possibly in your hometown"
Without the flashy packaging and booming announcer voice, who but the most devoted of conservatives would actually watch this channel? It's funny considering how FOX started...anyone remember Tracy Uhlman, or Married With Children?
