One word: hope. Keep a cheerful attitude and instead of fearing that no change will come, tell yourself constantly that it will come. You need to take charge and make change happen. Fear will hold you back, so you need to let go of fear. Build a dream in your mind then make it happen in your life. Ask your friends to help. A few good friends are far better than a multitude of fair-weather friends.

I know this sounds dumb but you really have to like yourself first before any one else will like you . also high school is hard and not everyone will like you and you are not going to like every one either just remember that some day you might be the boss and then when some one comes in looking for a job ( and that some one was really mean to you in school ) you will finally have the authority to say sorry don't want you or need you try to look on the bright side and you will find that there is a light at the end of the tunnel . you said that you have a few friends well a few is all you need ecspecially if they are good friends . most people who look like they have a bunch of friends usually don't and they end up going home at the end of the day feeling pretty lonely . don't try to change because high school will soon be over and then you have the whole rest of your life oh and remember not being normal is normal hope this helps some .

I hated high school myself and yes things do get better after wards, so there is a light at the end of the tunnel.
My advice?
The only thing you should take seriously is your grades in high school. All that other bulls*** like what the others kids think of you and what not think of as a joke. I'm not kidding when I say this is the time in your life you can get away with anything or do anything that does not have any real conquences as long it is not illegal. Thus I encourage you to do so.

Hey, dont worry, When I was your age, i was in the same situation. All I did was work hard, study, and aim for what i wanted to become- a doctor. I ignored those who ignored me, and concentrated on my studies. A few close friends is all one need, having a lot of friends doesnt mean anything, being popular doesnt get you a good job.

Take a role model .
rely on yourself and ability.
work hard.
Be selfish in self development.
That is the foundation for a happy future.
Don't worry .
You started thinking of yourself. it is a beginning.
Go with it,single minded ,focus and attention.
Work is worship. Go ahead.
No one to stop your growth.
Good Luck!
