How do i get the dragon?? It's not on the 'buy' menu?

You can buy a dragon nest from Vicki Vampiress. When you get home, your sim will drop the nest, containing a dragon egg at the doorstep. You can move the nest to wherever you want it in either Buy or Build Mode.

First, you have to visit Magic Town! The dragons can be expensive, but they are a lot of fun so it is worth saving up your Magicoins to get one!
Dragon Nests can be bought with Magicoins from the All Things Draconic stand. Dragon treats and toys can also be bought from the same stand. It is wise to buy at least one of each while you are purchasing the nest, as your Dragon will be happier with them.
When you arrive home, the nest with the Dragon egg will be placed on the ground. During the next 2 days you will need to care for the egg. How many times you interact with the Dragon will determine its color and personality.
Interaction Results
0 to 6 times: A red dragon that will set fire to your house
7 to 14 times: A well-behaved golden dragon, who will try to set fire, but will be unsuccessful most of the time.
More than 14 times: A purple dragon that has a tendency to set objects on fire.
