the greatest riff of all time? A riff is nothing without a great song behind it. Riff's are very trendy and simple minded. Try listening to something like Porcupine Tree, and get away from "riff rock"

Disclaimer: I am not saying that all riffs are bad or there shouldn't be any. I love Led Zeppelin, the Allman Brothers, but I am simply saying that there is more to music.

Check the link and, if you've not heard it before, wait til after the intro bit. I'm glad you asked this. I LOVE this riff!

But whole lotta love is cool,id just like to hear it less than twice a day on the radio. I hate it when they overplay legendary songs.
