look in your local thrift stores...lots of people get rid of nice canning jars, and other nice jars with cork tops (they had noodles, or nuts in them) for what ever reason...they just can't throw them away, and us crafters love it!!!
sometimes they have logos painted on them, it will come off pretty easy..just scratch a corner before you buy it...then when you get it home, you can wash them, use a little goo gone, goof off, or finger nail polish remover to get the rest off them!

Try the 99 cent stores, a big one. In my town, they are the size of supermarkets and carry everything.
