i need alphabet beads. What store sells them in NYC manhattan?

I don't know about New York, but I know you can order them, quite inexpensively, at....http://www.orientialtrading.com
You have to do some searching on the site....but they are there.
Check some of the larger craft stores in your area. Often times they will carry them (but at a higher cost).

OOH!! I just love alphabet beads....i don't really know NYC but try some arts and crafts or scrapbooking stores. Many stores have scrapbooking or arts section. Yup, you'll usually find them there.

I don't know NY, but firemountaingems.com sells almost any bead you can think of.
