Do I need to remove the central wheel bearing nut? How hard should i have to hit the rotor to unstick it? Could I break something if i hit it too hard?

With the vehicle jacked up, remove the front wheels. Remove the brake caliper retaining clip that faces the outward side of vehicle. Remove the two plastic grommets on the inboard side of brake caliper. Remove the two caliper slide pins (7mm allen head). Remove the two 18mm brake pad and caliper bracket retaining bolts. Remove bracket. With a hammer, tap evenly on brake rotor until it "falls" off. DO NOT REMOVE THE AXLE SHAFT NUT. Hope this helps.

No you do not need to touch the half shaft nut. On the reverse side of the spindle using metric tools remove the caliper ( 2 metric bolts). #2. Remove the caliper bracket. If the rotor does not come loose spray the stud holes with BLASTER available every where. Use a dead blow hammer and tap lightly on the back side of the rotor as you turn it. Tap around the diameter and on the front face. Smear the face of the wheel bearing / hub assembly with NEVER SEIZE. The rotors will never stick again. When putting the rotors back in place be sure the rotor returns exactly where it came from on the hub itself.
