www.elvis.com
That will give you any information you need about touring Graceland. Honestly, the best time to go would be during Elvis Week in August. Especially this Elvis Week since it's the 30th Anniversary. A lot of activity going on, special hours and everything. If you go any other time, consider this...Graceland is closed on Tuesday's (Except for Elvis Week) for cleaning. You can still walk up the drive into the meditaiton garden and everything is still business as usual across the street, you just can't tour the house.
I'm a 20 yr. Elvis fan at 25 and I have been to Graceland at least 7 times and am going back in August for Elvis Week. If your an Elvis fan, once you go, you will not stop going.

You can visit Graceland all year but the busiest time will be in January 8th(his birthday) or in Auguest16th when he died. There are several different tours. The official web site gives you details. You can even get wed in his privatate chapel in the grounds. Or stay at Heartbreak Hotel across the street, although i hear that it not too impressive food and clenliness wise. They play Elvis songs and show his movies all day long. There are companies that do the all inclusive thing flight tour etc. The Sun travel brochure has it. about 499 pounds for 7 days

Visit the Graceland website and you will get all the information you require.
I have been twice to Graceland (I am not particularly an Elvis fan) but I enjoyed the visit and the tour both times.

He stopped touring in 1976 - he died in 1977.
Seriously though there are many tours that take in Memphis (Gracelands ,Sun Studios etc.) and Nashville on offer - just shop around online for the best deals.
