Things in our world are not good these days. Things were so much happier back in the '90s. We weren't at war, our government was not nearly as corrupt and deceptive as it is now, etc. I kinda wish we could bring that decade back. It's hard to believe this decade "the zeros" is almost over.

Does anyone agree with me?

The 90's were great. We climbed out of a recession to find opportunity and grand potential. A lot of young people were getting well paid jobs. All kinds of people were starting new companies. We were at peace. The parties were out of sight! The early days of "Burning Man". Electronic music was still underground. It looked like we would solve all the worlds problems. We were so optimistic! It was a golden age. It was like we had won a great competition, and for a moment we could lay back and enjoy. 95' was the best.

Heck yes I agree with you! I loved the 90's and everyone seemed more cohesive then. Now it seems the world is far more divided. You could party and not worry about getting shot, you had no drama finding a decent job with decent benefits. Education was open and more people were getting into being smart.

And, I agree with one of the answerers who said the music was better! Now music from all genres that we don't want to hear that stinks is shoved down our throats on a constant basis (from rock, rap, R&B, pop, and jazz). Now yeah we did have Paula Abdul's non singing self in the 90's, but we had other pop artists who counteracted that mess. Now most of them sound like Paula except they don't wear clothes. LOL!

Wasn't it in the 90's that we had the terrorists making their first bombings? Their plans for 9/11 were being hatched then.
Isn't that when all we had for news was listening to a Bozo president explain what he meant to say and what he was really doing when he was supposed to be working? Or isn't this when we learned what whitewater meant and government run healthcare?
Now I will say that we did have some great SNL skits back then.
I still have not heard music as good as it was in the 60's and 70's.
Sorry. Don't want to live in the past though.
