I edited the registry and since then when I really need to check the properties of any computer program, it was failed to open or displayed but freezed or stop to function.

Registry editing is a dangerous task unless you are sure of each ammedment you are making...

Now I am sure You might not be able to recall which of the last precise edit made the system to function wrong...

Thus you can now only do that if you backed up your registry before being corrupted (and that too most recent or you are going to spoil it further) restore it...

Or wait until you decide to reinstall the complete operating software
