How much will it cost to have a brick wall of 25 yards x 6' high built around my garden. From foundations to round coping. This is in Salisbury, Wiltshire. UK.

for this project you require for a double wall 120 bricks per square metre thats about 6000 bricks the average pallet is 500 bricks costing £150 per pallet(This does depend on the quality) so you are looking at about £2000 for bricks plus mortar mix it yourself for about £500 cappings of about £200 and a foundation of concrete for a further £200 so thats about £3000 if you DIY. Reclaimed bricks tend to be more expensive because they are trendy you can pay about 30p for a new brick and 40p for a reclaimed brick.

Your question is not well enough presented for anyone on here to give you an idea. Firstly, and most importantly, what is access like to the project?, for example, can a JCB get in easily and what about the removal of the excavated material?, ask a builder to quote you,as far as the bricks are concerned, the difference will be negligible compared to the foregoing as you are talking about a relatively small amount of bricks(circa 3000).Not my part of the world, but I would guess between £3500 and £5000.

Hedge fences are lines of shrubs or small trees that run along the border of a yard or garden, providing privacy, protection, and a decorative addition to an outdoor space. Many people choose to grow hedges instead of installing wooden or wire fences because the hedges blend into the fauna around them; another advantage is their height, which can reach over 15 feet (or 5 meters). Depending on how large you want your hedge to be, you can use any number of plants, from short azaleas to taller Japanese yews. Whatever your choice, your "living fence" will require regular care and maintenance in order to remain full

too much! i was quoted £3500 for a wall of similar length but only 1mt high..and i was supplying the bricks! he reckoned 4 men 4 days! if you have any building sites near you, try going to see the site agent before the end of works...any leftover bricks get thrown in the skip! i got 2,700 brand new bricks, including 200 fancy sloped front ones for £20 'in his bin' they are usually only too pleased for someone to remove them free of charge..skips come out of their budget.

Speak to a builder or landscape gardener, give you a rough idea of the cost
