I like that episode of Seinfeld too. No, my wallet hasn't resembled a pocket book since I had one of those Velcro things way back when I was in elementary school. I have a svelte Abocrambie & Fitch wallet now but I still have a bad habit of putting receipts in it all the time.

My husband has had two back surgeries and his neurosurgeon advised against sitting on his wallet. It has nothing to do with the weight of the wallet. It has to do with the thickness of the wallet when it is in your back pocket and you are sitting on it - it throws your back out of alignment. His doc also said that wearing flip-flops is one of the worst things you can do for your back - no arch support.

Are you George Constanza's cousin? ....LOL...By the way, amazing question!

"A close friend of Jerry Seinfeld in the show 'Seinfeld.' He keeps all of his receipts in his wallet at all times, which in turn he keeps in his back pocket. His wallet is so massive that, when sitting down at a resturaunt, he must put a stack of napkins beneath the other pocket to level himself. Played by Jason Alexander."
