Hi!

You simply HAVE to get Sky+!!!

It will revolutionise your tv watching!!

It's brill!!!

I love to watch Deal or No Deal every night, but I hate all the cr*p that goes on inbetween the boxes being chosen. I have now (thanks to Sky+) got my viewing time of this programme down to four minutes!!

It's great being able to pause programmes mid way and being able to 'tape' stuff without having to remember to do so! You just put 'series link' on programmes you want to record and it remembers to record them for you every time!!

If you get it, you won't look back - I promise!!

Hope this helps!!

Best of luck!

I agree with the majority of the page on this, Sky+ is brilliant. I have ended up watching a lot less but better quality. No more random channel flicking just put in your fav programs and keep a look out for good films and job done. The only drawback is that you can't transfer the recordings to a lap top like you will be able to with a DVD recorder. Other than that though, no contest. Sky+.

I don't have Sky plus, but I know a couple of people who do and I'm pretty familiar with the system. All I can say is - it is f*cking brilliant, and SO much more easy to use and simple than a recorder. Trust me.
You look through the tv schedule on Sky, press 'R' if you want it recorded, and it'll turn on and record it when it starts. That's all there is to it in terms of 'setting a record'.
And you can pause TV at the same time as recording something on another channel.
Go for it.

Sky + is brilliant if you have digital sat TV. If you go for a DVD recorder with hard drive make sure it has freeview installed and a digital interface to record a Sky digital signal. With the switch over to all digital TV very soon this is very important as most of the recorders without this will become useless when analogue is switched off.

I have had Sky + for nearly two years and i think its absolutely
We wouldn`t be with out it, now there is always something to watch because it is so easy to record you can even pause live programmes like football ,
If you answer the phone during a programme just rewind and the beauty of it is you can record two programmes at once
I know there`s been a lot of problems with the sky boxes but we have been one of the lucky ones no problems at all

I'm gonna wait until those skyboxes which also decode hdtv signals start to drop in price. They were about £450 before Christmas. In a newspaper last week I saw a Sky advert having them at £299. They'll drop in price even more as they begin to be produced for the masses.

I've recently bought a DVD recorder with hard drive. It keeps freezing, which apparently is a common problem. The signal where I live is weak which doesn't help. The aerial supplier suggests unplugging it briefly when this happens.
Good luck

It is so simple and reliable after one year .
