In all seriousness, go to any good pet store and they sell doggy diapers. They have a hole cut in the back for her tail (they go on the female not the male).
My parents just went through this with their pugs. They also just seperated them. They put one in the bathroom with some food and water and leave them there for a couple hours while the other runs and plays, then they switch places.
It's prolly gonna go on for a couple weeks, but it's just something you'll have to learn to deal with. If your not interested in breeding them, and cost isn't an issue, then have one of them (or both) fixed. Hope this helps!

how about getting your pets spayed and neutered? One day the dogs will be successful in getting pregnant because you can't always be around all of the time and you won't know exactly when she goes into heat.
Some SPCA's will give discounts if money is tight.

No. The dog wants to mate all the while the female is in heat. Letting him at her one time wouldn't do it.

Never heard of doggy condoms. Maybe you've just invented a new product.
