Kel ... Yes, you absolutely would. You're probably using XP or Vista and 256 MB is BARELY enough for XP. I don't know what the minimums are for Vista, but all the recommendations I've read suggest 2 GB. So, I'd say that increasing your RAM from 256 MB would be a big improvement.

Definitely. With 256MB, you've got enough to run your OS (MS claims you only need 128MB, but that's not realistic). Tripling your RAM to 768MB will definitely give you a nice boost.

Depends on how much of your 256 megs you were using! I will however say that you will probably see some improvement!
