I need to find a way to release stress, without hurting others. Or whatever is around me. Everytime i get ticked off, i end up throwing stuff, and usually breaking it. I live about 10 minutes out of town, and there is no way i can go to stores, or a gym or anything. I cant scream, cuz i live with my g-ma, g-pa, mom, and uncle, and i will get in trouble if i do...so how do you guys release stress? and evertime i try to release it, i end up just crying!! then getting a major headache after words. PLZ HELP!!!!

Well just find what you like doing, and do it....weather it be listening to music, painting, watching movies, doing yoga at your home. Just do what you love, and makes you feel good.
I listen to music to relieve my stress, because it's like my daily medicine.

Go somewhere in your house where you can be alone, probably your room. Lay on your bed and put on your headphones if you have them and listen to music or just dance to it. If you like music a lot dancing will help you a lot and it's good exercise too. I like to cook when I am stressed. You would be concentrating on what you are doing so it wouldn't take long for your stress level to lower. I usually come here on-line and read email too. You need to do something that you like that will distract you from your stress and before you know it you will not feel so bad. I stay stressed out quite a lot because I babysit for my young grandchildren so I then resort to having a nice glass of wine too later in the day. Good luck, stress stinks.

When I was at school I had a very good friend who all of a sudden turned into a complete B****h. I tried to remain friends with her but couldn't wait to finish secondary school. Even tried talking to her and other friends about the problem but to no avail. I joined a swimming club. Made brill friends through this and found that swimming was very calming for me. Maybe join a club or something you have an interest in and cut this girl out of your life as much as possible.

I'm the Angelina Jolie type when it comes to kicking butt. So I bought me a punching bag from Jcpenny and some gloves from Target's. It totally relieves the stress and I get a workout while doing this. I feel better and my body feels better. Save yourself some money by not breaking anything else and get that punching bag that will help you release your inner powerhouse.

You can exercise at home-----------I do. Buy a step and a pair of hand-held weights. I hold the weights in each hand, and pretend like I'm punching at someone that has pi$$ed me off that day. I use the step and also hold the weights in each hand and really go at it with full force. Then take a hot relaxing bath afterward while listening to soft music.

writing poems or in journals is one way to let your anger out. Also, you can do a lot of excercises or play sports, it really helps you feel much better and less stressful.
