My friend and i are going to a birthday party in an hour and we lost part of the present we are positive we had 2 hours ago.. help needed!!

its always in the dumbest spot..how big is the present?

The basic rule is to Backtrack where you were last and trace your movements, and things you did from that point backwards.
if that fails, try recalling the very last moment you had it - and work foreword, where you been and what you did.
This helps in most cases. I wish you luck. If you don't find it, simply inform the Birthday person that there is another gift which got misplaced and promise to give it to him or her as soon as you find it.
Its not uncommon to find a missing item 2 or three days later.

I pray and ask God to help me find it. When I pray, I always do eventually find it, maybe not as quick as I'd like.
