Hopefully, neither.

If you married each other for the right reasons there should be no reason for either one to have to change.

I'm not sure you can generalize this question. It depends on the people. They say men, tend to let theirselves go after married and put on weight, but women do too. I believe a woman gets more independent when married, the man at work, and even if the woman works, she has the house, kids, cleaning, laundry, taking kids to sporting events, etc., she has to learn to do a lot of things on her own. A man has the stress of providing for his family and working hard everyday and a woman must make a nice home and take care of husband and kids and make everyone happy and healthy. Both have stress, but I think women have to try harder in the marriage to hold it together than men do. We are devoted to our families and try to keep the peace.

properly, my popular reason replaced into the girl who basically hated her maiden call and had to alter it... exceedingly plenty to the rest. It does make issues marginally less demanding while coping with teenagers interior the destiny, even nevertheless it rather is fairly painful to handle the switching over on the time of the marriage and thereafter. in spite of you do, do no longer replace the call once you're paying for a house. you will finally end up doing issues like signing contracts "Susan XYZ fka Susan ABC". once you're final on a house and signing over 70 documents, that could get to be stressful (been there, performed that, bought the T blouse). in my view, i've got consistently enjoyed the assumption of the two people choosing a sparkling final call and changing it to that. perhaps the final call has something to do with their unique names, yet perhaps no longer. So Tom Jones and Mary Smith could become Tom and Mary Jonesmith or Tom and Mary Henson. i presumed it replaced into cool because of the fact it creates a sparkling kinfolk with a sparkling call. even nevertheless, I look the only guy or woman who likes this.

The men will say a woman changes...a woman will say a man changes....

Women: after marriage, some may feel more secure and be less willing to bend to the mans will...

Men: after marriage, some absentmindedly, will stop doing the little things that attracted her in the first place...opening doors, rubbing backs, etc.

You pick.

usually neither. This is why the divorce rate is so high. Most people see someone they are attracted to, they begin to fantasize then quickly marry and then the blindfolds come off. They see each other as they really are, demand the other change while refusing to change theirselves. They then go thru a bitter divorce where evryone(especially the kids) lose.We cannot change another person, we have a hard enought time being honest with ourselves and changing to become better people.

The one who loves the least has the most control and so the person who loves the most will change the most.

In my opinion, the man's only because it is at the woman's request. Why should we have to put the seat down? Why shouldn't we make you put the seat up? What do you mean I can't hang out with the guys at the Gentleman's club?

My point made.

Men! They wine you and dine you, lead you to believe they will help with the house work, raising the kids, doing laundry and cooking, but then it just slowly slides away, and one day, when you ask them about it, they call it nagging!

if it is a healthy relationship I think they should both change and compromise, in reality I think that women change more because they are more eager to make and keep everyone happy.
