I own a small trucking company,(13 trucks).
Demand for good truck drivers has never been greater. If you're a good truck driver you have nothing to worry about, If you're a whiner and complainer, doesen't matter who else is driving, you'd be out of work anyway.

the polish people come to uk for work because they dont have to have as many qualifications to get work here , in poland there are plenty jobs but if you dont have a ticket they will not get the work, plus they will work for less than the minimum wage the polish are all over the uk in all work areas and they think £5.35 is a millionaires wage compared to £1.80 to £2.50 that they would get in poland
they are nice people too i made friends with some students last year and sent one an mp3 player for xmas and they said it would have payed two months rent for their flat, i wish my rent was less than a tenner a week

I'm a trucker too and yes the poles are trying to worm their way not only into the transport industry but construction, manufacturing , in fact almost any trade, but who do you blame if you could go to say America and get 4 times your wage would you say no or go for it i know what i would be doing.
I blame our government for keeping us in the EU and for putting up with the ridiculous laws they force on us.

Total '3456';;£$ madness! How are they allowed to do it? Maybe it's so the rich get richer and the poor get poorer again. (perhaps they are getting us ready for a war, and need the cannon fodder!)
I know that I will vote for whoever can protect us from this bo##ks!
