Okay you know how sometimes when you dream and the next day or later on you see what you dreamt. Well why does this happen? I don't understand how it can happen because how can your brain, and mind know what's going to happen when it hasn't happened yet. I remember a dream from when I was in 4th grade and then around 6 months later I saw what I had dreamt those six months before. Anyway why and how does this happen?

It's sometimes a self fulfilling prophecy.

You have the capability to put yourself in the scenario or environment that you perceived in your dream, and help it to come true.

There are many examples of dreams that seemed to predict future events. Some may have been due to coincidence, faulty memory, or an unconscious tying together of known information. A few laboratory studies have been conducted of predictive dreams, as well as clairvoyant and telepathic dreams, but the results were varied, as these kinds of dreams are difficult to study in a laboratory setting.
