Panajachel is basically one main street that is very tourist oriented and a bunch of other streets that look like every other guatemalan town. There are wonderful restauraunts and hotels in every price range and the lake is truly beautiful. The van will let you off right in the middle of it and you can´t miss. Sorry, I don´t remember the name of the hotel we stayed at, which was great and only cost $10 a night, but there are many. Check out the Pajara Azul for good food.
