Which is better?

Character shoes (mary-janes) or pumps? I'm wondering in terms of comfort for a formal concert. Because I think character shoes may be too casual-looking.

im thinking you should wear nice flat black shoes that are comfortable but still look very formal, like school shoes or summit

k u can find shoes that look amazing , that are comfortable as well and that aren't to too expensive eather!!
