I'm needing to know how do you send an e-mail through word?
Can someone please help.

you need to set up the pop3 outlook or outlook express which is part of the MS suite.

Word can not send email - I'm sure you mean:

"How can I send Word with an email"

In this case simply save the word document to your system
Log on to Yahoo
Compose a new Email
Click attach file
Browse for the saved file
Click attach to email
The document will be attached to the email and can be downloaded by the end user (person you sent the email to)

You don't.
You can creatre an email message in Word, but a mail application has to send it.
In Word, go to the File menu > New Document > Email message
Type your message and put in the email address where it asks for it. When you are finished Click on Send and your message goes to your email application to be sent out.

Well you save the document first and close it. Then you go to yahoo and click compose mail. There will be a little icon just above the message box that says attach files. Click there. Little boxes will appear with the word "browse" next to them. Click browse, and find the document on word. Click open and it will be copied into the attach files boxes. Then click continue message and send it.

Complete your document in Word. Go to File in the menu bar and select Send To | Mail Recipient. It will open your default email client and attch the Word file automatically. If you don't have Outlook/Outlook Express as your email software then it probably will not work.

You can just copy and paste what you wrote in Word and send it like that.

click send!!
