i know many girls that dont like blue eyeshadow.. why?

I think people have different thoughts on blue.. brunnets... because it is such a dark color and not natural dont like it.. it makes the eyes look small... i only wear blue when i wear a blue shirt on something and it has to be a very light blue because it you wear a dark one.. it looks like yo uget punched in the eye.. yet blue does look great of girls with light hair and light skin..

I'm brunette and I love blue eyeshadow! I think a lot of people, brunettes and others, tend to associate blue eyeshadow with the over-the-top, tacky blue shadow styles of the disco era and early 1980s. I wear blue shadow and I also love bright blue eyeliner! It's all in the application and, if you're going to really go bold with the eyes, it's also about knowing to tone the rest of your makeup down so that the blue eye makeup is the main standout feature on your face.

I'm a brunette...I love the way light blue looks on my eyes. I also like the purple and pink and sometimes grey look too. It all depends on how heavy you put the shadow on. I have a light hand and manage to put on dark shadow very easily without messing it up, or overdoing it. The reason why brunettes probably hate blue shadow is because since they usually have dark features, it maybe brings out to much on their face.

I like it.... : ] And am brunette. But I wear it when going for night out looks and only use my Mac eyeshadow, anything less than a great quality would look trashy...
Blue has a tendency to be a trashy eye color.

It depends on how the blue eyeshadow is worn. I like blue eyeshadow and I actually wear it. It's just like any color. If it's overdone, it looks tacky. If it's done without a heavy hand, it can look really cute.

I don't like generalisations about certain groups of people. I like and dislike blue e/s. I think it depends on how it is worn. I wear it but only certain shades and not over done. I also wear purples and greens and pinks and even reds too. You can pull off colours but they gotta be done a certain way. Blue is either loved or hated just like green and red as e/s.
The 70's blue e/s to me is hideous but so many brands make beautiful blue shades now.

i resent that im a brunette and i LIKE blue eyeshadow. maybe it clashes wiv der eyes or clothes or hair or summit

i think it may be because that brunettes mostly have brown or hazel eyes and blue does not look as good or makes their eyes pop as much as violets and golden browns.

Because it is so unnatural. At least, that is why I hate it. Some people can pull it off, but many people put it on so excessively it is just plain UGLY!
