ok my job i have now is physical and laborous. I am pregnant right now. i m about to be a single mother. The thing is the job isnt really during " day care " hours. im 4 1/2 months along now - but it pays good and its got good benefits and job security. the Thing is its getting harder and harder for me to do the job the further along i get. Also the insurance is covering for my labor and delivery. It is hard to get jobs in the place i live in, there are some out there but also a lot of applicants. should i jsut quit now and find a job that wroks wit day care hours now that isnt too phsycial?? also another thing i am just barely above the level to get the chidlcare assitance and WIC and all that = if i got a diffrent job id qualify for those which could really save me a lot of money. so what should i do? should i start looking now, or wait til i have the baby?

Get a leave of absence. Some companies will pay for that and also try to apply for the wic and other help as they will help even if you are working in some cases. I would also try to apply for housing as well. In some states this may take a long time but it is faster in a few of them.
As far as changing your job I would take a leave for now but make sure you have a way to support yourself and baby.

Congratulations. I'm a mother of 2 and I have a home based health and wellness business sharing proprietary products that are pure, safe, and beneficial. This allows me time and financial freedom to spend time with my children and do the things that we want to do. The products are formulated in Switzerland, made in the US and target 6 key consumer markets. There are over 350 consumable products giving you a nice residual check rather then a 1 time sale. This is where you're going to make your money. Some of our top earners are making six figures. It's a secure and stable company (been in business 27 years), debt free, no territories to limit growth, no inventory, no sales requirements, unlimited income potential, free online training, online support, committed leadership, Mercedes Benz car program, with the most generous compensation plan in the industry. You can will this business up to 6 people so you can also create a legacy for your unborn child. The company is booming with an average of 111% growth every year since 2002, so now would be a great time to get started. If you like networking and sharing with others this might be a great fit for you. I would be happy to help you learn more if you're interested.

no girl dont quit your job,you should check with your job policy and see if you can get 'std' short term disabilty.you should be able to do that.then take leave when your doctor tells you to.you will be under dr. orders so your job has to hold a job for you, check your state laws were you live.that protect you from work places.and far as WIC dont depend on getting that.most states are trying to do away with that.get child support from the farther of the baby if you can.its only fair for him to help with the baby.i pay almost 600 a month for my daughter and i dont mind it.and also the father of the baby will have to put the child on insurance threw his work place its alot better then child care assitance programs.take it to court if you have to,and ask for support and insurance.good luck to you and your baby.

Start with the basics - more than 10 hours of separation from mommy a week is severely damaging to an infant. An infant's ability to trust is damaged, his bond to mommy is damaged, mommy's bond to him is weakened, his intellect is harmed, his social skills are harmed, and his physical health is much much worse.

So, what do you do that doesn't horrifically abuse and neglect your child?
