ive fallen for my friend, lately ...well ok now nearly for a year i havent been able to be near him without my heart beating fast....
normaly if i would like a guy id tell him, but im scared that this could ruin our freindship....
i know it would
soo....i cant make up my mind ....
im afraid id regret not telling him when he is leaving this courty next year, but i might regret telling him and ruining our friendship even more......
meh life sucks

He's leaving?...don't waste the opportunity while he is here...tell him...if it ruin's the friendship...it probably would have come to that eventually anyhow...and just so you know...life in itself pulls friends in different directions...so even if you are good friends today...eventually life would probably pull you away from each other...but if you were a couple you would create your lives to include each other...nothing risked, nothing gained...be brave...tell him. If you like him you may have to take a chance. You don't know if his the man of your dreams or the one whose going to make you happy. You can also let him know that if things don't work out between you and him that you would like to save the friendship. It maybe weird to have an ex as a friend but you can definetly try. Follow your heart!

I do not understand what your problem is, did you start going out with this guy and the pact was made friends only, if that is the case then you broke the rule. but if no such pact was made then tell him. I am fairly certain that if a guy and girl are going out for quit a while then the inevitable happen they fall for each other, That is what getting to know you is all about there is no such thing as instant love, it is instant lust.

Are you serious. I am in the same situation. i have been liking my CURRENT boyfriend since forever. We were really close friends then he asked me out. i was scared that since hes moving in a month or two that are friendship wont be as strong. i would talk to him. i say that the best thing to do for a relationship is communication.

Which would make you feel worse.. him leaving without knowing how things might have turned out or him leaving (or maybe not I don't know the circumstances of him leaving) and knowing you made a go of your feelings. It's all up to which would be the worse for you.

Just go straight-forward and ask him..say you like him....but not just out of the blue...wait for a time that seems rigth.start with :"I have to tell you this before you leave"...and tell him how long you've liked him... .It might be akward at first if he denies you..but if you say, "if you don't feel the same ,can we still be friends afterwards?"..It still will be very akward..look for the signs to see if he likes you..if he has any siblings, ask them if they know if he likes you, or their best frieinds.

before you tell him, just ask yourself this question, do he really care about? ( as a friend) does the truly consider you your best friend? is he your best friend? if yes is the question to at least one of these questions then even if you told him this, he wouldn't change ( or get weird like most guys do) becuase he is a good friend and he cares about you etc. so tell him if yes is the answer to these questions. good luck!

I think you should tell him. I don' t really think it would ruin anything. Who knows maybe he likes u like that too. The worst thing that could happen is that he tells you that he would only like to be friends.
