Check out one, or all of the following sites:
Google Earth
Google Moon
Google Mars
(and supposedly coming sometime this year--Google Universe)

Play around using the magnification levels to get different views and you could get some really interesting subjects.

You could check for sites with pictures taken from satellites and various space missions. The Voyager mission sent a lot of pics back....that is until it left our universe. NASA sites might be worth investigating.

Go to Google and have fun.

go to conceptart.com and look in the sketchbook thread. I get inspired by there alot and you can see what kind of things other people draw in their sketchbook.
If you really want to improve your drawing skills rather then drawing flat shapes I suggest you try drawing basic 3d shapes, cubes, spheres, cylinders, and adding text to them- see if you can figure out how to write a sentence wrapping around a cylinder - it will really help you think 3 dimentionally.
Also, drawing city scapes, or interiors of rooms will really help your perspective skills which is esentail for good drawing.
When I draw in my sketchbook I try to do a variety of gestural people, structural people, facial expressions, individual features, eyes, hands, feet, noses, ears,
I also include anatomical studies, skeletons, individual bones, I was lucky enough to visit an anatomy museum where I drew muscles and bones from referance and they had a full gorilla skelleton that I spent some time drawing.
Try to get as much variety in your sketchbook as you can it's a great enjoyable way to build your skills
