Bringing a iPod into the tanning bed is a bad idea because apple said the iPod should opperate at room temputure. Bringing it in most likly would void the warrenty to.

iPods should NOT be exposed to extreme heat or cold. Seeing as a tanning bed is frying your skin, I'd say it classifies as extreme heat.
