Ah! To reveal my secret – only for & to you : I am a tad shorter than 6 ft [a mere 10-11’] & I get around my handicap [sorry, that’s for ‘hands’; ‘pedicap’ for legs] by walking on pogo sticks cleverly camouflaged by my long skirts & pants & sarees. [I could send you my snap if you like]. No surgery, no pains, no wet feet [why you couldn’t take your socks off before watering your feet, beats me! But hanging upside down must’ve given you real rosy cheeks.] And in all modesty, I’ve gotten so proficient that I can hop, skip, & jump And am training to do somersaults too. Initially, before gaining confidence & proficiency, I would sometimes use a ‘display & divert” tactic : display some of my other Ample assets & divert attention from my pedicap. Little wonder then, that I remain, the centre of attraction ;-)) Hope this helps where all else has failed …. PS : With rapid progress in stem cell research, I just came across an article where they can grow real-life cells Over the pogo sticks so that they look like Natural legs !
