Why can't we buy just certain tv channels? i don't watch all the channels. I basically watch History, Discovery, and Sports. So why don't they make it so you pay like 2.99 a month per channel yah know? It's bullshite.

The cable companies would not make enough money and the smaller channels would go out of business. I agree with you.

Answer. Channels are owned in bunbles and sold to the cable company in bundles like a variety pack. If you want your Fritos you have to buy your Cheetos as well. If you want ABC then you have to buy Disney. You are just getting the same deal the Cable companies do.
