there is a standing joke with my husband.....
doctor dans 2ball lotion......guaranteed to cure what ails ya....
but seriously.........the best body lotion ,esp. for dry skin .......is........
plain old vaseline......but put it on after your shower or bath when the pores are open. rub in well, and you will be soft and smooth in the morning..
i have done this after peeling from the sun etc...and it works everytime.
you can also rub it in while you are IN the shower....not as messy then.......

Olive oil is really good. Any cooking oil actually.
Baby oil is really good too.

My Mom always always rubs a little Vaseline on rough spots like elbows, knees, heels. :-)

i guess you could use petroleum jelly, but that is mainly for substitute mascara or lip gloss
Vitamin E or C (i forgot) also work well but you need a lot so i dont suggest you use it

actually if you drink atleast a bottle of water everyday your skin becomes naturally smooth i don't use lotion, well a bit on my legs after shaving but thats it
