Tell him that he needs to find his own dates, talk to his friends about help with dates, or maybe even look into a dating service.
The fact that you two were unable to make it together is not a real good recommendation from you for potential dates, and should they ask you questions, you'd probably wish to answer honestly, which might not help his cause.

Unless you run a dating service, tell him to get his own dates. Why are you bothering even asking? A reasonable person might even wonder why you even talk to an ex about his love life, or for that matter, why you talk to him at all, unless it concerns children you have together.
