I like the C.O. Bigelow line at Bath and Body Works. They make your lips shiny and they taste good too. I also like Hard Candy's Super Clear Lip Gloss because I like my lips to be shiny. :-)

The best lipgloss? It depends on what you like. Do you want a lip gloss with a color tint or do you just want it for the moisture factor?
Neutrogena has a awesome lipo gloss, both with and without color.
Chapstick is an amazing moisturing lip gloss, it also has a great smell. It does not have a color tint to it though.
Burt's Bees is also good. It comes with and without color as well. Both forms of it are great moisturizers though!
Victoria's Secret has an extensive line of lip gloss as well. The clear-mint scented lip gloss supplies shine, moisture and a fresh mint scent to your mouth. You can also find color tints from pink to brown! They have an amazing line, but you can expect to spend a little bit more for these.
All of the brands above are well worth each penny spent though.

For moisturizing, I absolutely cannot live without Burt's Bees Lip Balm. It moisturizes really well, protects against chapping on windy days and has a pleasant peppermint taste that isn't too strong. It also comes in a new version with a slight honey taste.
For color and shine, Lancome Juicy Tubes. L'Oreal also has a product similar to Juicy Tubes (can't remember the name off the top of my head). Both products offer pretty colors, high shine, a pleasant taste and aren't as sticky/tacky/ as many other lipglosses.

Chanel glossimer.
Believe me. This is the best stuff ever.
It's shiny, but not too shiny. Not sticky or greasy.
Best of all it comes in gorgeous extremely flattering shades that look gorgeous on anyone!
It's pricey, but totally worth it.
If you really think about it, buying six or seven crappy drugstore lipglosses adds up in price but the quality of each one is horrible.
Save your money for other things and only buy one Chanel gloss. It's AMAZING.
I sound like a commercial. Hah. But it's true.

Mac Lipgloss is amazing its long lasting but costs more then stuff people normally buy

Clinique makes nice ones, but my FAVE is at Bath & Body Works...Mentha Lip Shine by C.O. Bigelow. Awesome I tell ya! Shiny, smooth, I like mine with a tint of red. They have all sorts of new flavors, but my favorite is still the green tube, it's minty fresshhhhh!!!

Estee Lauder makes an amazing lip gloss!! My favorite is theirs, and then MAC. As far as needing something to soften your lips or keep them from getting chapped or dry, I would recommend Burt's Bee's Lip Shimmers, or Burt's Bee's.

I know this lip gloss is being discontinued but I really did like the Dessert Treats lip gloss from Jessica Simpson.
It had a lip plumping ingredient in it and it looked and tasted divine.

I use Yves St Laurent due to it is a brush that has a clicker that spreads the lip gloss evenly and no mess. I love the nude and pink color...
