how do i change the format to MP3?

hi i am downloading songs onto my mp3 but the format isnt mp3 how to i change it?? thnks

there are various open source softwares which can be downloaded for free
There are other formats which are better than Mp3 such as WMA,MP3 pro ,AAC
THeir softwares too can be downloaded for free

Go to download.com and download a freeware file converter. File converters can covert many audio types into other types of audio.
