If your children is not doing well in school its the teacher's fault. If your child is fat, its McDonald's fault. If your child has bad behavior, its automatically because of ADD. Its so funny because most of the people who complain and lobby are BAD parents.
Now there is a news stating that several parents and lobbyist are attacking Pizza Hut's read a book program. I'm really disgusted on what this country has become. Some idiot writer said we shouldn't use reward (especially pizza) to make children read because that takes away from the true value of reading books. Maybe all people in the United States should stop attending college because the reward (good job, higher pay) is clouding the true reason of "desire to gain knowlege" by going to college. I wonder how many people would pay $40,000 to go to college if you get knowledge but you don't get a higher pay or better job.

Pizza Hut doesn't make children fat, Parents do!!!!!

I agree. The one thing I can't stand the most is when a child becomes depressed or hurt themselve they blame there music. I listen to music that is often requested at suicide victims funnerals. The one song is "Adms song" by Blink- 182... but the song never tell's the children to committe suicide, it's just about a person who did. Another one is "The day that I die" by Good Charlotte. This song simply states that they want to die EVENTUALLY, infact it never even states that it would be by there own hand. I myself want to die some day, but i'm NOT suicidle. I just no that eventually I will fufil everything I wish to and won't want to be immortale. I think that there has to be some way to show parent's what to look for and how to actually take the time to figure out there kids feelings and problems BEFORE sending them to phycoligest, yes some kids need them but others just need there parents time. Infact most kids who try committe suicide feel unwanted or useless, esspecially if there parent's don't " know" them.

Parenting skills started declining with previous generations and with new parenting laws introduced designed to protect children from abusive relationships have turned into shelters for teens to do whatever they want.
I don't agree with parenting that allows children to learn from their own mistakes. That only means that parents don't have to be responsible for teaching.

Lack of responsibility. It takes a mature person to own up to his mistakes and shortcomings and we live in a very immature society. People are so busy trying to "ACT" grown up that they never take the time to actually grow up

Good question. They are so irresponsible, they let their TV or video games be their nanny while they are at work and then blame it on Grand Theft Auto or Doom games when their hell brats turn violent and start some school shooting a la Columbine.

That is the way society has become. People want to blame someone else for there own stupidity. They would blame someone else than blame themselves for there own faults.

You're right...people never want to take a good look at themselves and the fractured families their selfishness has created.
