i've been subscriber to Verizon Fios since it has been available in my neighborhood, a burb of Dallas. I love it. I was using Dish network but decided to swith when I purchased and HDTV. I also subscribe to their internet.

I am not a big fan of Cable TV especially comcast. I had comcast before Dish and used their internet before Fios. Two Words Too Expensive. I pay $35/mo for my internet; $55 month when I was with Comcoast.

I love the picturequatlity, VOD (video on demand), they have a good number of HD channel, and the fact that I dont loose programing when there's a storm. The customer service is alway good and quick when i call. If you're not interested in HD they minimum package is inexpensive too.

Im pretty cost conscience and did a price analysis of Dish and Fios before I switch and Fios was less expensive. I have a HD-DVR plus a standard box for another TV, I get 180+ channels and HBO for around $75/month. Im not sure about comcast's prices but if Fios is available in your area, I would get it.

I use AT&T Calladvantage for my phone VoiP (Voice over internet) I would suggest this or Vontage. I pay $35/mo and call the anywhere in the US and Canada for free and internation rate are great. The fuctionality is suberb. I have my voice mails emailed to me so I can listen them to at work as a wave file.

hope this helps.
