how can i add songs into my ipod but not be charged for the songs i download to my ipod

You shouldn't be charged for putting songs you've already put onto your iPod....unless you're talking about taking the songs from iTunes and putting them into your iPod without paying for them? Because that would be piracy and is illegal.

Maybe you could be more clear on what you're asking?
