PUT A RESTRAINING ORDER ON HIM

Oh bummer. My ex was like that. He never did a thing when we lived together, but when we separated, he wanted to mend things and paint the house nad other stuff. It was a year or so before I realised he was offering to this so he could keep an eye on me. When I turned him down, he took to following me in his car when I went out; ringing my friends' houses if he called and I wasn't there; keeping tabs on who called to the house.......oh, man, weird.
Your ex is flogging a dead horse; you will have to get tough with him. Tell him you need to start making a life for yourself and he needs to do the same. I wonder how long you have been apart? If it's a few months, well, maybe it's an adjustment phase; if longer, I think he needs help. Make sure you are not available to him for phone calls or unplanned meetings, that sort of thing. Just be firm and tell him it's not on.

You need to be totally indifferent to him. Treat him with icy politeness. Don't offer to do anything for him - even making a cup of tea. Don't start a conversation - if you see him, don't say hello just give him a slight glance as if he was a piece of furniture. It won't take long for the penny to drop.

Hi!

It's a typical case of:

'Didn't miss his water until his well ran dry' isn't it?

It's hard I know, but you might have to be really brutal with him and tell him you're divorced and that he should leave you alone and start a new life for himself. Or something like that! You know him best, what kind of vocabulary would he understand?

Best of luck!

You will need to move on yourself--by accepting his gifts and gestures you are giving him mixed signals therefore he believes there is hope and will not move on until you are clear on your own decision. So do not answer the phone, or the door and get someone else in your life and then do not get mad when he does because he will when YOU let go.

be honest with him. tell him it is over. tell him not to call you and not to come by. Tell him you can handle your life on your own and you appreciate his gestures but it is over for a reason. Then you need to also be sure you are letting go and not sending any mixed messages, you need to not call him or go by to see him. If he presists after all of it tell him to stop or youll get a restraining order. lol you most likely will not have to do that. Just be responsible for your own actions, words and know where you may be using him or misleading him and stop then be real clear with him.

thats because he thought you werent serious about leaving him and now that he knows you dont want him anymore he is trying his best to win you back dont do it he will kinock you back and your life will be ruined. you deserve to move on and just tell him that. if he starts harrasing you get a ban against him to come with in any distance of you.

Have a talk with him. Let him know you don't need him. Had you need him you would have stayed married. Also don't leave any doors open for him to help. Don't let him know what you are doing or need done. That way he can't help. Good Luck

You need to be firm and tell him! Let him know that if he does not stop then you will have to end the friendship altogether. He missed this opportunity and youhave to tell him that. Good luck!
