No vinegar, just a cup of salt in the wash with cold water. Rinse twice....

Vinegar will take some of the color out . Use 1/2 cup of salt and cold water.

Washing them interior out can help you somewhat yet as the different poster states, it isn't so as that the jeans "fade" onto themselves. it truly is because colour loss also comes from rubbing in the course of the wash so washing interior-out lets the rubbing take position more suitable on the interior than the exterior. regrettably, no count number number what you do, jeans will fade wash after wash. that is the nature of denim so there is no longer something you are able to truly do to stop it. to reduce it, wash them one at a time, in a small load with a smooth detergent like diaper cleansing soap (non bleaching). sluggish spin and carry close to dry in a shaded section.

Wash your jeans inside out on delicate cycle in cold water with a small amount of mild laundry soap. Then for the second wash use a capful of vinegar with the same conditions as the first time and so on.....Good Luck!!! When they get really faded, you can wash them with special fabric dye from the craft store. It works awesome.

I soak my jeans in the sink with a cup of salt to a gallon of water for about an hour or more. Then wash inside out.

Vinegar makes the jeans stink for a looong time. There are detergents that keep colors in tact. Buy that.

The key is not to dry them, let them lay out to dry.

Or the easiest and best way to go is to take them to the dry cleaners!!

:)

it won't ruin the material, you can add 1/2 cup salt to your wash water and wash them inside out.

WE ALWAYS WASH MY HUSBAND NEW JEANS TWICE (2) WITH A MILD DETERGENT FOR DARK COLORS, COLD WATER, THEN RINSE THEM ONCE (1) WITH A SOFTNER.

HIS JEANS STAY GOOD FOR A LONG TIME.

you really need to buy detergents made for dark clothes, but either way jeans will always fade over time :(
