Although I don't think any of us that are not in the military have the credibility to answer this, I will try. There are so many good things happening in Iraq, they just don't get any airtime. You can't judge by what is seen on TV. Network TV news is all bad, no good, and I refuse to watch it anymore. I say go on fighting the good fight. We cannot let Iran and Syria make Iraq into a playground for terrorists and islamic extremists. And p.s. to all you liberals out there, your representatives and senators all voted to go to Iraq on the same intelligence that George Bush had received from your hero, Bill Clinton. I didn't hear any of you screaming then.....

No, need more troops, especially right now while ground is being gained. It is clear that the terrorist organization has moved out of Baghdad and are on the run to disrupt other less fortified areas. This gives the patriots and their allies the advantage to see the enemy movements.
The ground that is captured must be held, not just cleared out for a temporary moment in time. Other areas should have traps ready to capture equipment and combatants on the move and out of communication.
Give our soldiers a chance!

American troops shouldn't have been sent to Iraq in the first place; this was an unconstitutional and illegal 'war' Bush fabricated for three really lame reasons:
1) He wanted to 'get even' with Hussein for humiliating his father during Desert Storm;
2) He and Dick Cheney want all that OIL swimming underneath Iraq's sands so their Exxon-Mobil oil buddies can get richer and richer and richer feeding America's dependency on cheap, easily-accessible OIL;
3) The giant U.S. military-industrial complex needed to boost its profits, and another war was necessary to do that, just as the Korean Conflict, the Cuban Missile Crisis, the Cold War, Vietnam, and Desert Storm were all events controlled by - and for the benefit of - wealthy American industrialists. YES, our troops should be pulled out from Iraq. -RKO-

I think we need to stay however long it takes in order to finish builting up the Iraqi Security Forces. In the last 8 months of my last tour, we handed over half of our Area of Responsibility to the Iraqi Army. I am looking forward to going back in October.

Yes. The war was begun by our current president. He lied to our congress and the nation in order to gain support for the invasion. The people of Iraq want nothing more than to develope their own government. We need to allow that to happen even though it will be a bloody time for that country.
