How can I find out, how much money has been spent on something?

Like, people talk about "Americans spent 6 billion dollors on alternative medicine last year" or something. (I just made this figure up, but) Do you know any good website?

Try a search on statistics, depends on what type of thing you are searching for. there are many web sites that give all kinds of statistics. but then again, without knowing exactly what information you are looking for it is hard to recommend which one.
