A careful listening reveals that society is really dumbing down fast. On a recent overseas trip, I was amazed at how professional and serious the news reports were. Why is American media catering to the base, immature and irrelevant? And what's with all those African drums??? Listen to CNN...it sounds like a jungle at wartime.

This is partly the result of a government who doesn't want us to know what's really going on, and partly the fact that Americans ARE getting dummer.... many kids today get taught in overcrowded classrooms and the teachers don't have time to teach anything because they are busy doing crowd control. Most American Sixth graders can't find England on a map of the world. How sad is that?

YES, it is a shame. The mainstream media is driven only by some sort of sick idea as to what the public needs to know. It is weird. It could be a wonderful thing if driven by only the need for facts, and not driven by political bias and making more money.

i'm a conservative Libertarian, and no i don't sense the full subject on FOX...Or CBS, CNN, ABC, NBC or CNBC for that subject remember. right this is the version between FOX and distinctive networks: the guidance personalities on FOX are candid approximately their political biases. Britt Hume, John Gibson and Neal Cavuto are somewhat open approximately their conservative slant. bill O'Reilly admits he's "conservative" on some issues (abortion) and "liberal" on some issues (the lack of ability of existence penalty). in assessment to, say, Dan quite, they do no longer faux that they are "purpose." I observed an interview with Roger Ailes in C-SPAN; his stance replaced into that that's disingenuous to declare that one comments the guidance "objectively" with actually no attitude.

The government and big co. control what we see. And, yes, as an American I'm sad to say that a lot of people only want a beautiful body and not a beautiful mind.

Get about 1 minute of a story then they tell you more in a half an hour. And the weather men are so stupid. I think they go to college can't do anything right then decide to be a weatherman.
