i have a 1979 trans am i have power at the battery but no where else.?

It could be a fuseable link in the main power cable to the fuse block or the ground cable. Use a test light and touch the firewall while touching the positive post of the battery. If it doesn't light up, no ground...

First check battery connections then check for power at the starter solenoid. Then go to the fuse block and on. Make sure your gronds are all tightly connected and clean.
