I think humans are as powerful as they will allow themselves to be.

Good question.
I think it depends on what you mean by the word "powerful."
The realm of what is possible for humans is constantly changing....the full potential of our brain is not even realized yet....
A mother doesn't realize how powerful she is until she sees her child trapped under a car...and there were documented cases where in times of distress(like the above example) of the mother lifting the car and the child escaping....but during normal times she couldn't even budge the car.
I don't know if we're more powerful than we think we are, but there are many things with we have yet to find out about ourselves...
Humans in another sense are too arrogant and not humble enough....we're part of this universe, not the center of it.

Human beings are only as powerful as God allows them to be. Now humans can use their imagination to do anything they want to do, but we have to be careful about that because if we go against God and His word we're asking for trouble. Do you understand? God bless you.

They are less powerful.
The problem is, they THINK they're more powerful.
When humans find themselves in a situation of man against Nature, then Nature always wins.

God created man in his image, and woman from man , and humans are equal to God in all was but sin, immortality( thanks to adam and eve), and creating something from nothing. we can create incredible things from something God has already made, but we cant create something from nothing.
