Is it possible to make varsity baseball as a sr after not playing hs ball before? i was the last one cut soph yr, after the coach couldnt decide to keep me or not. he seemed to like me but said the vars coach didnt think i could make vars over some1 else, but he said he liked me as a fielder. now, that coach is on vars, but i wasnt a manager when i could have been that yr because i said i wasnt home over the summer, & thus couldnt do a summer league, which he said you had to do (in his opinion) to make varsity. i didnt even try out last yr, but now i regret not having pursued it. im going up against the same people again (fresh & sophs form 2 yrs ago are jrs & srs now) so i would be on the border talent wise again. however all the srs know they are on & i would prob be the only sr trying out not already on. i havent even played in 2 yrs, but i have a little more strength now (so does every1 else), but is it worth trying out, cause theres also a lot of politics, & dont

Is it possible to make varsity baseball as a sr after not playing the previous season?

absolutely. hopefully you kept in shape and everything last year.

each season is different, and your chance to make the team is just as good as anyone else's.

(unless you can only play one position, and the starter of that position last year is back again this year)

its possible yes IF you do not get injured in pratice (as I was fastball of the inside right elbow ended it for me) IF you work hard IF you are determined.

However in reality most H.S. coaches are fools. They want to win and they want EXPERIENCE. The summer leagues are more BS gettogethers anyway and some of the better coaches are found there because they are NOT high school coaches. I give you 5-1 against on making it from what you said and this is all based on PERSONAL EXPERIENCE.

Judging from your writing, I would skip the sports and spend a bit more time in an English class. This way you could write a clear/concise sentence that all could understand.

I would try out if I was you. This way later in life you won't regret it. It never hurts to try. I wish you the best of LUCK!!!
