okay..so i updated my itunes library a couple days ago and now when i plug my ipod in, (to update music or whatever) a message comes up saying, " The software required for communicating with the Ipod is not installed correctly. Please reinstall itunes to install the ipod's software."

grrr...how do i do that?? any know what is going on? ROAR

to reenstall itunes go to http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/ that should fix it...

Unplug the iPod and close iTunes. Go to Control Panel, Add Remove Programs, iTunes. Press change. This will reinstall iTunes. After this restart the computer, open iTunes and plug in the iPod.

it should ask you to reinstall just the ipod software and they you click yes or it could want you to reboot your computer

Yikes...it looks like you are going to have to reset the ipod...which means wiping out all the data in it.

umm, reinstall itunes?

you already installed it so how do you not know how to reinstall?

install the newest version, then reset your ipod
trust me it happened to me before
